Recording begins - spend time preparing to go into the studio

Adam's Recital at Victoria Conservatory (we both perform 'I do' - listen to the track on the old radio on this page) Same night, we meet up with Polly & record a song for the Live at Cornerstone Cafe CD at the beginning of May - here's a track from that: Get blown away by wind at the Metchosin Market mid May & get photo in the news Then the band heads to Vancouver to showcase at NewMusicWest. Members of the CCR collective come along as the back up band. Press in Monday Mag. Announce name change to 'Crimson Star' Attend Rush in Vancouver with Adam at end of May. He brings one fork too many! :-)

Release of Live at Cornerstone Cafe - mid June. Everyone gets a good review in paper - listen to our live track 'We are Lost' (see May) Fernfest - Adam takes part while Caroline goes to song camp with Mae Moore, Lester Quitzau, David Essig & Shari Ulrich and learns many things from the amazing people who were there. Starting in January 2008, we did a fun radio New Year's Hootenanny show with Dave Lennam and James Kasper at CFAX. Thomas P. Radcliffe was there, as well as Mike Vardy and Mike Demers and The Gruff. Good times! Polly, Adam and I started intensive rehearsals polishing up our set for our opening slot at WinterPride in February opening for the amazing Melissa Ferrick. I started my music biz courses at Berklee College - and that was lots of fun! And all of us took part in the official label launch party of the Cornerstone Collective at the Cornerstone Cafe at the end of the month. Cornerstone Collective Records is an artist operated collective sponsored by Fernwood NRG.
